Crews are investigating the fire at a hazardous waste disposal plant in El Dorado.
The fire at the Clean Harbor plant started just before six Tuesday night.
The fire destroyed one of the plant warehouses.
The fire burned for three hours before it finally died down.
Instead of using water to fight the fire, crews used a different approach to be safe.
"It was two choices either smother the fire with some type of material. Sand or it had to be dry sand or let the fire extinguish itself by burning itself out and that's exactly what they did" said Jerry Thomas Director of Union County Emergency Management.
The cause of the fire is unknown and no one was injured in the fire.
