Fugitive Arrested in Monroe

A California man wanted for murder has been captured in Monroe. Robert McKinney is wanted in California in connection with a murder. Police say they were called to an apartment on Peach Street when they saw McKinney standing outside. McKinney gave police a fake name before they patted him down and allegedly found a pistol and marijuana in his pocket. McKinney has been booked on drug and firearm charges. He is also a fugitive from justice out of San Bernardino County, California where he is wanted for the murder of an 18 year old man. (Copyright 2008, NBC 10/Fox 14 News)
