Caldwell Fatal Crash

The wreck happened around 2 this morning on Highway 849 in Caldwell Parish. State Police say 34-year-old Darren Jacobson was driving in the Grayson community when, for unknown reasons, his truck ran off the the road.
The vehicle overturned several times and ejected Jacobson before it landed in a ditch. Alcohol use is suspected. Toxicology tests are still pending. Police say Jacobson was not wearing his seatbelt at the time.
