BASTROP, La. (AP) - A Morehouse Parish man charged in the 2006 death of his wife and her mother will be tried in Ouachita Parish. State District Judge Carl Sharp agreed to move the case against Lee Roy Odenbaugh from Morehouse because of defense concerns about pretrial publicity in the Bastrop area. Odenbaugh is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of 39-year-old Sondra Porter-Odenbaugh and 58-year-old Jessie Porter. Porter-Odenbaughs daughter Jessica Cooper also was shot in the December 2006 incident. Odenbaugh is charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection to Coopers shooting. The District Attorneys office is seeking the death penalty against Odenbaugh. (© The Associated Press, All rights reserved.)
