Updated: February 9, 2012
An attorney for former LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson entered a not guilty plea on behalf of his client today to the misdemeanor charge of simple battery.
Jefferson was indicted late last September in connection with a fight this past August outside a Baton Rouge night club that left Andrew Lowery unconscious and suffering from a broken jaw.
If convicted, Jefferson faces up to six months in jail and a maximum fine of one-thousand-dollars.
