New autism bill adds insurance coverage

Good news for autistic children and their families living in Louisiana. Governor Bobby Jindal signing a bill into law requiring health insurance coverage for kids with autism. The new law will require health insurance coverage for the diagnosis and treatment of autism disorders in patients under age 17. It passed unanimously in both the house and senate.
