The El Dorado High School Arena hosted a Radio Disney program for kids to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math also known as STEM.
This was the first time that Radio Disney had conducted the interactive program for students in Arkansas.
Radio Disney partnered with some of El Dorado's companies to make the event possible and encourage students in a fun way to pursue careers in math and science.
"Our students are watching Disney on television with the Disney Channel, their listening to Disney Radio so they understand our songs. They actually know the songs we sing so if we use this creative environment and interject information and messages about math and science and technology, their more likely to receive the message."
The event was a part of recognizing American Education Week.
