Monroe Police are looking for a suspect they say is wanted for armed robbery and kidnapping at a bingo hall in October.

It happened October 15th at Bayou Bingo Plus on 32nd street.
Police say Monquarius "Mon" Duane Thomas made it inside the closed business where one employee was still on the job.

Thomas is accused of stealing money from the employee and tried to gain access to an ATM machine.

When that didn't happen, police say Thomas  forced the employee to drive him a short distance. Police say Thomas forced the employee out of the car and drove off.  The vehicle was later found abandoned.

A warrant was issued for Thomas' arrest on the charges of Armed Robbery (bond $100.000.00), Kidnapping (bond $75,000.00) and Motor Vehicle Theft (bond $10,000.00). Total bond is $185,000.

If you can help police locate Thomas, you're asked to call the Monroe Police Department at 318-329-2600 or Crimestoppers of Ouachita Parish at 318-388-2274.
