Monroe Police Department Unveils New Seal

The Monroe Police Department unveiled a new seal Tuesday.
Police Chief Quentin Holmes says choosing the seal was a long process. After receiving 27 entries - the field was narrowed down to five, then all of the department employees voted on their favorite.
One of the three entries drawn by ULM graphic design major Sara Powell came out on top.
