Updated: November 27, 2012
The Monroe Regional Airport has launched a new mobile website. It will allow travelers to  access important information from anywhere before boarding their plane.

All visitors need to do is either visit m.flymonroe.org OR www.flymonroe.org. The airport website will auto-detect if they are using a mobile device and will display the correct version of the website for them automatically. Travelers can get up-to-date information on flights, airport amenities, weather, and local information such as directions and nearby hotels.

Ron Phillips, Monroe Regional Airport Director, says, "The Monroe Regional Airport is committed to using state-of-the-art technologies to improve customer service and overall passenger experience for the thousands of travelers and families who pass through our airport each year. In today's global economy, it is essential that our airport embrace the latest in mobile connectivity to stay competitive. As a result of this new mobile based web service, it will now be even easier to make the Monroe Regional Airport our gateway to the world."

Mayor Jamie Mayo adds, "This is another positive achievement for our new 21st century airport. This will make air travel even more convenient for our air travelers, who will soon be able to enjoy our new baggage claims & car rental facilities which will open later this week."
