Grandfather Arrested in Union Parish

A 61-year-old grandfather is being held in Union Parish Detention Center accused of aggravated incest.
Mark Phillips, of 505 Forest Drive, Farmerville, is being held on a $100,000 bond after being arrested Nov. 28 at a fishing camp off Alvin Green Road near Farmerville.
Union Parish Sheriff Bob Buckley said a complaint was filed against Phillips by a 7-year-old girl's mother on Nov. 24. After an investigation by detectives, a warrant was issued for Phillips' arrest Nov. 28.
Detectives also obtained search warrants on both the residence and camp where pornographic magazines were recovered, the sheriff said.
