The attorney for a Monroe City School Board member has filed a complaint
with the District Attorney's office, saying Tuesday's school board
meeting could have violated the open meetings law.
Attorney Brady King filed a complaint, in it he claims that the school board violated the open meetings law when a motion to go into executive session was never voted on.
The topic of discussion was a complaint over a voice mail with a racial slur that was filed against board member, Vickie Krutzer...
King's complaint says board member Rodney McFarland then proceeded to bring the matter up in an open meeting without properly adding it to the agenda as an open meeting item in violation of the open meetings law.
