One Killed in Drew County Shooting

The Drew County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) is investigating a shooting death.
It happened just before eight o'clock Sunday night in the town of Ladelle, south of Monticello.
When deputies arrived, they found 53 year old, Charles Hewitt, lying on the floor of his home suffering from a gunshot wound. Hewitt was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies later arrested Jerry "Wesley" Pryor Jr.
Pryor is being held at the Drew County Detention Facility on charges of capital murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
