According to the Drew County Sheriff's office, 34-year-old Jerry Pryor jr. is accused of killing 53-year-old Charles Hewitt at his home in Ladelle, Arkansas Sunday night.
Deputies say Hewitt died in his home from a gunshot wound.
Authorities aren't sure on the motive at this time, but say that Pryor and Hewitt had a history of arguments.
Authorities say they were able to track Pryor down and take him into custody.
"He's reported to have borrowed a vehicle at a residence near here and believed to have proceeded over here so we followed up on that and located him and that's what led to the arrest."
Pryor is being held at the Drew County Detention Facility.
He's expected to have his first appearance in court tomorrow.
