Top ULM Police Officials on Leave from Their Positions

MONROE -- The following is a statement released by University of Louisiana at Monroe officials Wednesday afternoon:
"ULM Police Chief Larry Ellerman and ULM Police Captain Dan Chason are both currently on leave. Chief Ellerman will remain on leave until he retires on Jan. 11, 2013.
As both the chief and the captain are on leave, the officer in charge is ULM Police Lieutenant Adonis Pate.
Since this is a personnel matter, no further information will be disclosed at this time."
