The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's office is teaming up with Interstate Dodge to help make this Christmas a good one for some less fortunate and hospitalized children.
This brings new meaning to toy drive. Unlike other toy drives, where you simple donate the toy, Interstate Dodge bought a new toy every time someone tests drove a truck.
Over four thousand dollars worth of toys were collected.
The Ouachita Sheriff's Office will distribute the toys to kids at St. Francis Medical Center and to families in need.
Enough toys were collected to fill up the beds of two pickup trucks.
You can still donate a new unwrapped toy at the sheriff's office.
