Officials Capture Wanted Kidnapping Suspect

MONROE -- The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's has captured a suspect wanted for kidnapping.
Deputies have obtained a warrant for the arrest of 36- year old Eric W. Martin.
He was wanted for Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated 2nd Degree Battery, and Theft of Motor Vehicle with total bond of $100,000.
He was arrested around 11 p.m. Saturday night. It was originally thought his last address was in Monroe, but the police affidavit lists him as homeless.
Martin is currently booked in the Ouachita Correctional Center with a total bond of $2 million.
