Rep. Katrina Jackson Selected Chairwoman of LA Legislative Black Caucus

Rep. Katrina Jackson has been selected as the Chairwoman of the Legislative Black Caucus for 2013-2014.
Rep. Jackson says "It is my sincere honor and privilege to be elected by my colleagues to lead the LLBC. This is an amazing path to take as once a staff member of the House of Representatives, then as the executive director of the LLBC and now as the chair. I do not take lightly this charge and will use all of my experience, knowledge and God-given wisdom to uphold and further the longstanding missing of the LLBC."
Rep. Jackson was elected to the legislature in 2011.
