"My grand kids and kids can see that I was a part of the movie," says Clark.
Clark and many others in the area are getting their time to shine as extras in the film "Finding Normal."
"Never thought they'd want to be in Columbia," says Columbia's Police Chief.
Chief of Police, Clay Bennett has lived in Columbia his whole life, He's and other Columbia residents are thrilled to see the town in the spotlight.
Bennett says, "They blocked off a few streets here and there. There have been no complaints. Everyone's just excited."
Onlookers steadily pour in as production crews transform local businesses, streets, and the town hall to look like a town called "Normal." The movie stars Candace Cameron and Lou Beatty Jr.
Filming wraps ups on January 18th, but folks around town say they hope this isn't Hollywood's last visit to Caldwell Parish. Director of Columbia's Main Street, Beth Hefner, says Caldwell Parish has a lot to offer the movie making community
"They have said that we have an ideal location for movies and we can get them to come to town regularly. It would be wonderful," says Hefner.
This means folks in the area may not be hearing "that's a wrap" from the Hollywood anytime soon.
