Judge James Hesterly is being accused of bribery and conspiracy.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Hesterly was involved in awarding a FEMA disaster relief contract to co-defendant Harry Clemons in return for a contribution for his 2010 reelection campaign for Ouachita County Judge.

Hesterly was denied bond for alleged threats he made against witnesses and an FBI agent.

He denies those allegations and will have a bond hearing on Tuesday.

Clemons was granted $5,000 bond.

Both Hesterly and Clemons will have their trial on March 13th in El Dorado.
