19 Flu Deaths in Arkansas

The flu in Arkansas is now responsible for 19 deaths.
Health officials say the flu shot is still the best way to protect yourself from the flu.
Those most at risk for severe flu-related complications include:
pregnant women
children under the age of five
people 65 years or older
people with chronic conditions such as asthma, COPD, heart disease or weakened immune systems
If you think you have the flu, officials advise you to call your doctor immediately.
