Monroe Police Arrest Sexual Assault Suspect

MONROE -- Monroe Police have arrested the man wanted for two separate sexual assaults.
The suspect was identified as 34-year old Terresz L. Robinson.
Police say Robinson attempted to carjack and kidnap a woman Wednesday at the Pecanland Mall. The victim was able to escape, but Robinson did steal the victim's car. The victim was not injured.
Police were able to catch Robinson and determined that he matched the description of the suspect wanted for two different sexual assaults.
The victims were able to identify Robinson in a police lineup.
Robinson is still in Monroe Police custody, but will be taken to OCC later this evening.
Robinson will be charged with car-Jacking, Attempted 2nd degree kidnapping, and two counts of forcible rape.
In the police report Robinson admitted to using PCP and said he didn't remember raping the victim.
Monroe Police will have a news conference Thursday at Noon to provide more details on the suspect's arrest.
