The El Dorado Chamber of Commerce hosted its quarterly Economic Outlook Luncheon at the El Dorado Golf and Country Club where Clean Harbors announced that a new project is on the way.
80 million dollars will go toward an incineration project for Clean Harbors and is expected to be completed by 2016. The project will add those new jobs.
Other cities within the county gave updates at the luncheon including El Dorado Mayor Frank Hash who says that Atwood's is nearing completion, a TJ Maxx store will be coming to the city as well as renovations to the city's mall.
El Dorado Chamber of Commerce says luncheons like these are proving to have an impact on the city.
"The impact is different than anything else we do because of the regional focus."
The next Economic Outlook Luncheon will be in May.
