El Dorado Water Commission Discusses Improvements to Customer Service

The El Dorado Water and Sewer Commission continue to meet to find ways to improve on customer service complaints.

On Monday, the commission pitched some suggested steps that they can take before meeting with the city council on Thursday.

Some of the suggestions included implementing a recording of customer service calls, providing a customer survey at the end of the call, and training the customer service representatives.

The commission has been accused of having poor customer service skills by the city council. The council has talked about abolishing the commission after receiving complaints about the commission's customer service.

The commission also received an update on how progress is going on the waste water pipeline.

Currently hydro testing is taking place on the pipeline as well as construction for pump stations.

The pipeline is expected to be finished by July.
