Search Begins for New School Superintendent in South Arkanas

SOUTH ARKANSAS -- The Smackover School Board has recently hired a recruiting development firm to hire a superintendent to replace their current superintendent Don Smeltzer who will be retiring in June.
Smeltzer has been with the Smackover School District for 47 years.
The school board hopes to have their new superintendent in place by the start of the upcoming school year.
The deadline for applications is March 8th.
