UPDATE 02/26:
Bastrop mayoral candidate Allen Tolivar has withdrawn from the race.
The decision was announced Tuesday morning at a hearing in the Morehouse Parish Courthouse.
Toliver said he has signed the withdrawal, which will be filed with the Secretary of State Office.
Assistant District Attorney Neal Johnson said Toliver lives 8/10ths of a mile outside of Bastrop city limits, which makes him ineligible to run for mayor.
Toliver said he does not plan on pursuing any other races in the future.

The 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office has file a suit in Morehouse Parish contesting the candidacy of mayoral candidate in Bastrop.
Allen Toliver qualified as a candidate for mayor of the City of Bastrop last Friday.
The District's Attorney's office received a complaint from a registered voter with the city limits of Bastrop, notifying them that Mr. Toliver had listed his address as 10515 Reeves St., Bastrop, LA.
The D.A.'s office determined that this address, which is also shown on Mr. Toliver's voter registration records, is outside the city limits of Bastrop, and therefore does not meet the qualifications of the office.
Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, at 9:00 in courtroom #2 of the Morehouse Parish courthouse before Judge Daniel Ellender.
