Agencies Ready for Great American Cleanup this Saturday

The Great American Cleanup is this Saturday and organizers in Ouachita Parish want you to participate.
This year, three litter abatement agencies in Ouachita Parish have partnered together for the cleanup -- Keep Ouachita Parish Beautiful, Keep Monroe Beautiful and Keep West Monroe Beautiful.
All are affiliates of Keep Louisiana Beautiful- the big day is this Saturday, March 9.
Activities will include picking up litter, planting trees and flowers, recycling drives and educational programs.
"We decided this year to combine resources and volunteers to really try and make a difference in the community" said Courtney Hornsby.
