Willie Nelson Performing in El Dorado

EL DORADO -- Preparations are being made at El Dorado's Municipal Auditorium for the nearly two thousand people who will show up from all over the region for a Willie Nelson concert.
After hearing about the legendary country singer coming to town, organizers say it didn't take long to sell tickets.
"When you look at online ticket sales and where these people are coming from, it's Virginia, it's Tennessee, it's New Orleans, New Iberia, it's Longview, Dallas, Texas, Maui." "We sold a third of the house in the first two days."
Accommodating that many people is challenging enough and the hard work continues up until nelson hits the stage. Givens will oversea the setting up of the lighting, volunteers, catering, and parking.
"It's a whole list of things, but hopefully tomorrow evening everything will fall into place and we'll have the best show that El Dorado's ever seen."
Willie Nelson will perform Thursday night at 7:30 at El Dorado's Municipal Auditorium.
