Hampton, AR Seeking Police Chief Applicants

HAMPTON, AR -- The City of Hampton is apparently looking for a new police chief.
On its Facebook page, the city stated its seeking qualified applicants for the position of Chief of Police.
We've asked if Chief Jeff Jackson was fired or step down from his position, but so far no one from the city has answered our question.
In February KTVE reported that Jackson was suspended with pay by Mayor Rick Shiron.
The mayor said Chief Jackson was being investigated by Arkansas State Police.
