At least 31 percent of Arkansas one and a half million registered voters cast ballots yesterday, exceeding the 22 percent turnout in 2004 and the 19 percent who turned out in the 2000 primary.
Former Arkansas governor mike Huckabee and former Arkansas first lady Hillary Clinton each had easy victories in their parties presidential primaries.
