Officer Assault

It happened late last night on Riverbend road in West Monroe. Reports say officers responded to an anonomyous tip about drug sales at the home of Dena Wilson. West Monroe Police had been at the residence about ten minutes when Wilson arrived and drove her vehicle at officers forcing them to leap out of the way or be run down. Officers drew their weapons and after a brief struggle took Wilson into custody. Shes charged with four counts of aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. Wilson is being held at the Ouachita Correctional Center. No bond has been set.
