Iraq War Anniversary Approaching

The fifth year Iraq War anniversary is Thursday. And its a war that America, and the Ark-la-miss, is still deeply divided on, five years later. For 24 year old US Army Sergeant Jacob Morrison...its a war thats on his mind everyday. He says everything has a price - including freedom - and nothing comes easy or free. But the price of the Iraq war has come out to be over 400 billion dollars. Roughly nine billion dollars each month. "If i had my choice Id rather be spending the money domestically, but that wasnt my control, but we have to hope the money were spending will come back to us in a positive way at some point," says Louisiana Congressman Rodney Alexander. While the billion dollar figure is steep, Morrison says he feels its worth it. Especially when locals thanked him for his work while he was overseas in 2004 with his Louisiana national guard unit. And Representative Rodney Alexander says he is hopefully optimistic that a good number of troops will come home by the end of the year.
