I'm a native of Michigan where I graduated from Ionia High School.
I moved to Chicago in 2004 and graduated with degrees in broadcast journalism and dance from Columbia College of Chicago in 2007.
My interest in journalism started young, but my first experience came with my high school broadcasting class. I then interned at numerous stations throughout college including Lakeshore News Tonight in Merrillville, Indiana and WZZM 13 & WOOD TV 8 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
In 2008, I joined the KOAM & Fox 14 team in Joplin, Missouri as a reporter and anchor. There my stories focused mostly on Southeast Kansas agriculture, weather, crime and the economy.
I first became a member of the Nexstar Broadcasting family in Fayetteville, Arkansas in June 2010 as a reporter and anchor for KNWA and the Fox News Edge.
I am proud to live in Monroe with my husband, Andrew, our son, Graham, and our poodles, Fannie & Lily. In my spare time I enjoy dancing, working out, golfing, and scrap-booking.
