Ferriday teen killed in ATV accident

FERRIDAY, La. (AP) - A teenager driving an all-terrain vehicle died after colliding with an 18-wheeler in Concordia Parish.
State police identified the victim as 14-year-old Michael Griggs of Ferriday. Troopers say Griggs failed to stop yesterday at an intersection with U.S. Highway 84.
Griggs was ejected from the ATV and was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was not wearing a helmet.
