Radio station gives away gas for $1.01 a gallon

Customers at one gas station experiencing a blast from the past as gas prices dip by nearly three dollars. Local radio station Star 101.9 teaming up with the Good Hope Handy Market in West Monroe to provide gas at $1.01 today. Officers were on hand to keep traffic flowing, but with the line of cars stretching for what appeared to be over a mile. The radio and gas station gave away the cheap gas for all the customers they could in 101.9 minutes. (© NBC 10/FOX 14 News, All rights reserved.)
