Fatal Crash in West Carroll Parish

An Oak Grove man was killed in a crash Friday afternoon in West Carroll Parish.
It happened on Louisiana Highway 582 east of Louisiana Highway 17.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 1997 Isuzu Hombre, driven by 28-year-old Daniel D. Ainsworth of Oak Grove, Louisiana, was traveling west on Louisiana Highway 582 when it left the roadway, hit a culvert, and overturned.
Ainsworth was unrestrained and ejected from the vehicle. Ainsworth was transported to a hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, where he died.
The crash remains under investigation.
