Another House Fire Caused By Lightning

They say lightning doesn't strike the same place twice but Saturday another
house in Monroe was struck by lightning.
The home at 2610 River Oaks Drive was struck by lightning this afternoon leaving damage in the attic area of the house.
The house was just sold yesterday so luckily no one was home during the fire.
The Monroe Fire Department was able to contain the fire quickly before spreading throughout the whole house.
Yesterday lightning cause a house fire in Pointe Place that house is a total loss but the family escaped safely.
