One Shoplifting Suspect Arrested; Search Continues for Second Suspect

Update:
West Monroe Police say one of the suspects wanted for shoplifting is now in custody.
Police say Lakeisha Pickens turned herself in Wednesday night.
She's charged with theft by shoplifting. Her bond is set at $1500.

Wednesday:
West Monroe Police are looking for two women they say walked into a store and walked out with stolen items.


From West Monroe Police:
On August 16th at approximately 2:00pm two unknown black females entered a local discount store inside the city limits of West Monroe, concealed and shoplifted merchandise from inside of the business.

The two females selected approximately $400.00 worth of store merchandise and removed the items from their packaging before casually walking out of the business failing to pay for any of the stolen merchandise. The two females then loaded the merchandise into a red ford Expedition before quickly fleeing the scene.
