Suspect Wanted for Robbing Monticello Motel

Monticello Police say that the Economy Inn was robbed Monday night.

The suspect is said to be in his thirties, with medium to dark skin, short hair, no facial hair, weighing between 140 to 150 pounds, and at the time of the robbery was wearing a black t shirt and black jeans.

Police say that when he went to the hotel to ask for change for a five, he showed a small black hand gun and jumped over the counter, took cash from the register and left the motel running towards Highway 425.
