UPDATE: RAYVILLE -- The search continues for a Rayville man who has been missing for two weeks now.

Joshua berry was last seen leaving his house on september 13th. His truck was found wrecked that same day in Franklin Parish with his cellphone and wallet inside.

Franklin and Richland parish Sheriff's Offices are working with the Louisiana State Police in the search. Officials have interviewed 30 people. Cadaver dogs, on-foot search teams and a helicopter have combed areas where evidence is strong.

Big Creek, close to where his truck was found, is one of those areas.

"We're just asking the public to come up to us, contact us or the Franklin Parish Sheriff's Office with anything they've got," said Lee Harrell with Richland Parish Sheriff's Office.  "If they have seen him, if he's still out there and somebody's recognized him, we're still hopeful that this is just a missing person."

Sheriff Harrell says no blood was found in the vehicle, and this is not being considered a homicide case.

Police say Berry frequented the West Monroe and Swartz area.

If you have information, please contact the Richland Parish Sheriff's office at 728-2071 or the Franklin Parish Sheriff's Office at 435-4505.
