MONROE -- Hundreds of animal lovers and their pets took over Forsythe Park in
Monroe for the 16th annual Bark in the Park.
The event is an annual fundraiser for the Ouachita River Valley Animal League. Owners and their pets participated in a 1-k walk or 5-k run around the park.
Participants also enjoyed live entertainment and games.
They also visited booths set up by vendors from pet stores and local animal groups.
All bark in the park proceeds will be used to help low incomes families pay for visits to the vet and other ORVAL service projects.
