Today is the Deadline to Register to Vote in November Election

Today is the deadline to register to vote in the November 6 Presidential election.
The registration deadline applies to all voters, including military and overseas citizens.
In Louisiana, residents can always register to vote online at www.GeauxVote.com; at your parish's registrar of voters office; while obtaining services at the Office of Motor Vehicles, public assistance agencies, public schools, colleges and libraries; or by mail.
In Arkansas, residents can click here to register to vote.
In addition to the presidential election, all four Congressional representatives are up for election. County officials are on the ballot, and due to redistricting all 135 seats in the Arkansas General Assembly have been up for election.
Of those, 62 are uncontested; 73 seats - 18 in the Senate and 55 in the House of Representatives - are contested.
Early voting begins October 22 in Arkansas and October 23 in Louisiana.
