OPSO Searching for Murder Suspect

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect accused of shooting and killing another person on Sunday.
On Sunday deputies responded to a shooting complaint outside a residence on McKeithan Street in West Monroe.
The initial investigation revealed that a male victim was shot and died as a result of this incident. Investigators have identified the suspect as Luis Alberto Valenzuela, 30 years of age.
An arrest warrant has been secured for one count of Second Degree Murder and one count of Aggravated Assault with a Gun. Bond for the two counts is $1,050,000.00.
