Police were called to a home at 909 West Faulkner early Friday morning, responding to a call of an unresponsive man.

"Upon our officers' arrival, they discovered 48-year-old Benjamin Taylor was covered in blood and was in the residence deceased."

El Dorado Police swarmed this neighborhood and blocked it off as they investigated the murder of Taylor. Taylor's son lived with him and is the one who found his father dead at the front of the house and called 911. As police continue to search for answers, they have determined one thing.

"Our understanding is that he had no enemies. Our understanding is that he was a truck driver so he spent time on the road."

Investigators are interviewing Taylor's family members including his son and anyone who might have seen him right before he was found dead. They are also looking into one other detail; Taylor's 2005 silver Toyota Tacoma has been stolen.

"If anyone has any knowledge of where that vehicle may be, please don't touch it or go around it or approach anyone it, call your local authorities."

Police aren't sure at this time if there is any connection between Taylor's stolen truck and his death. They continue to investigate the homicide. In the meantime Taylor's body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the exact cause of death. If you have any information related to this crime, you are asked to call the El Dorado Police at (870) 881-4845. Brea Douglas, NBC10 News.

The Arkansas license plate number to Taylor's Toyota Tacoma is 001 OFB.
