El Dorado High School held a rally outside the Union County Courthouse to bring awareness to drug prevention and recognize the 27th annual Red Ribbon Week.
The cheerleaders, dance team, and elementary students sang and danced in recognition of the week.
The Red Ribbon Week was started after a drug enforcement agent was killed while cracking down on drug trafficking.
Officials say this week is all about promoting a drug free environment.

Red Ribbon Week is a drug and violence prevention campaign observed annually in October nation wide.
