The victim of an attack that left her severely burned is expected to have surgery Tuesday at LSU-Shreveport.

Sharmeka Moffitt is being treated for burns over 60 percent of her body after she told police three men, wearing white hoodie t-shirts, set her on fire Sunday night at Civitan Park in Winnsboro.

Her mother Edna Moffitt, says she her daughter is suffering with extreme pain due to the burns.
"She's gonna have surgery tomorrow. Both of her arms are badly burned...3rd degree. It's like from her neck down, her chest and both her legs, but basically her arms are real bad. Find them who did this to my baby and I want them to pay dearly" said Edna Moffitt.

"KKK" was spray painted on Moffitt's car, but police are not calling her attack a hate crime.
