Stolen Truck Found in Case of Murdered Man in El Dorado

El Dorado Police have located 47-year-old Benjamin Taylor's stolen 2005 silver Toyota Tacoma.

The truck was found on Sunday on a trail in a wooded area between the Memphis Heights and Rhetta Brown area.

Police were notified of the truck's location after someone identified it as being the truck investigators were searching for.

"Finding the vehicle is very significant because one, it's still inside the city. The particular area that it's in and the trail that it was one was actually a trail that's not used anymore, it used to be used by a lot of people walking from one particular neighborhood to another. it's not used very much so really anyone who would have gone down that trail and driven a vehicle down it had to know that it was there so that's really where we are focusing our search areas."    

Investigators were able to get some evidence from the truck and continue to ask anyone who has any information on the stolen truck or the homicide to call the El Dorado Police at (870) 881-4845.
