Former Governor Edwin Edwards to be Guest Speaker at Chamber Banquet

Former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards will be the keynote speaker at
an upcoming banquet for the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of
Commerce.
The West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards will be the guest speaker at the Chamber of Commerce's Annual Banquet on Monday, Dec. 10.
The Chamber of Commerce's Annual Banquet will be held on Monday, Dec. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center, located at 901 Ridge Avenue in West Monroe.
The keynote speaker for the Banquet is former Louisiana Governor Edwin Washington Edwards. A Crowley, La. Native, he was first elected governor in 1972, re-elected in 1976, elected to a third term in 1984 and a fourth term in 1992. He is the only person ever elected more than twice and only four-term governor.
Governor Edwards will be selling and autographing copies of his biography "Edwin Edwards, Governor of Louisiana" by Leo Honeycutt.
