The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and the City of Ruston participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the intersection improvement project located at U.S. 80 and U.S. 167 in Lincoln Parish. The 1000 feet stretch of road had been closed for several months. The 609-thousand-dollars of funds for the project was provided by all levels of government.
The project has widened the intersection from two to three lanes. It also added a turn lane.
