Louisiana & Arkansas Residents Sign Petition to Secede from United States

Louisiana and Arkansas are among a dozen states where residents have petitioned the Obama administration, asking to secede from the United States.
The petition on the White House website has been signed by more than 13,000 Arkansans. Over 27,000 Louisiana residents have signed the petition.
To be considered by White House staff, the petition must receive 25,000 signatures by Dec.10.
